The event confirmed that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is in fact part of Fortnite’s world, and has been from the very beginning. During the wait time, players were given weapons to eliminate Cube Monsters as they breached the Cube’s outer shell. The timer soon ticked down to zero and the Cube Queen unleashed chaos.The Cube Queen AwakensThe Cube Queen woke up from her slumber above The Pyramid, shouting, “The Last Reality is at hand.” She drew power from the Cubes beneath The Pyramid and seemingly opened up a portal to another world overhead. UFOs began flying into the atmosphere before the Cube Queen opened the portal further, unveiling massive flying saucers in the sky. Eventually, the Blue Cube’s protective layers shattered, allowing enemy forces to march forward.Caretakers began flooding the immediate area, and players had to fight back with an Epic Assault Rifle and Magnum until the flying saucers confiscated them. “There’s no escaping The Last Reality,” spoke The Cube Queen as players retreated to the Blue Cube until a powerful beam shattered it completely.The Underground IO Base with Slone

But this year’s edition comes with a fun twist: one-time Fortnite performer Ariana Grande is now officially part of the game’s lore, with a questline that turns her into “the galaxy’s greatest monster hunter.”The event runs from today until November 2nd, and — in keeping with this season’s theme — it’s centered on the ever-present cubes that now dominate Fortnite’s island. Their migration towards the island’s center wasn’t just to spread corruption — they’re now at the center forming the Convergence. The mysterious purple lightning strikes that have been happening across the map have now stopped after focusing on a single area in Paradise Palms. In their place is a purple cube that materialised from the assault. If you strike the cube, runes appear on its surface. It also slowly charges your shield if you hang about on it for a while.
